The Ecler VEO-MXH48T is a professional 8×8 HDMI and HDBaseT matrix switcher designed for commercial AV installations that need flexible 4K/UHD video and audio distribution. Supporting resolutions up to 4K at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling, it allows multiple HDMI sources to be routed to different displays, making it suitable for meeting rooms, conference facilities, education, hospitality and other professional AV environments.
The VEO-MXH48T features eight analogue audio inputs and 16 analogue and digital audio de-embedding outputs, providing flexible integration with external sound systems. Built-in EDID management helps ensure compatibility between connected sources and displays, while the integrated video downscaler and independent audio matrix offer greater flexibility when managing different video resolutions and audio signals. HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 compliance also supports integration with a wide range of HDMI equipment.
Its HDBaseT outputs extend video distribution beyond standard HDMI cable distances, supporting 4K/UHD video up to 40 metres and Full HD video up to 70 metres. Power over Cable (PoC) can supply compatible HDBaseT receivers, helping to simplify installation by reducing the need for separate power supplies at the display end.
Configuration and control are straightforward thanks to the front-panel LCD display and integrated web-based GUI. The matrix also supports control via front-panel buttons, serial commands, TCP/IP and infrared (IR), with bidirectional IR and RS-232 control for communication between connected equipment. Up to eight presets can be saved and recalled, making it easy to switch between frequently used AV configurations.
