Christchurch based CPS group were contacted by local garden centre "Stewarts" during the autumn of 2025 to replace their aging public address and background music system. The installation presented a number of challenges including the indoor/outdoor nature of the garden centre requiring all loudspeakers to be IP rated.

CPS Technical Director, Simon White opted for over fifty the Ecler eMOTUS-5OD around the main retail spaces, along with Ecler eMOTUS-3OD to compliment some smaller areas. Finally the back-of-house staff areas were catered for using Ecler ePRS20Ti and IC6 in-ceiling loudspeakers.

The system was divided up in to four zones all being controlled by an Ecler DAM614 zoner with WPa-VOLSR remote wall plates allowing a simple user interface for certain areas. The system is all running on high impedance amplifiers with two Ecler AURA-4H150 amplifiers providing the eight channels of amplification required.

Used for background music as well as public address announcements, the system provides outstanding coverage across both front and back of house staff areas.
