Description.
The Ecler VIC8X is an 8-inch in-ceiling loudspeaker designed to deliver clear, high-quality sound in commercial audio installations. It features an 8-inch woofer and a steerable 0.5-inch tweeter, allowing high frequencies to be directed towards the listening area for improved coverage.
With 40W RMS power handling at 8Ω and a built-in 70/100V line transformer offering selectable 60W, 30W, 15W, 7.5W and 3.75W power taps, the VIC8X offers flexibility for a range of commercial background music and PA systems.
The paintable metal grille provides a discreet finish that can be matched to the surrounding interior. Supplied with a back can and tile bridge, it offers greater flexibility when installing the speaker in different ceiling types. Ecler's infinite-baffle design and high-performance high-frequency transducer help deliver consistent sound quality, making the VIC8X a practical choice for shops, restaurants, hotels, offices and other commercial spaces.

We think the Ecler VIC8X is a great option for commercial installations where you want good sound and a tidy, professional finish. The 8-inch woofer gives it plenty of presence for background music, while the steerable tweeter helps installers direct the higher frequencies where they’re needed. What makes this model particularly appealing is the included back can and tile bridge, which offer extra flexibility when fitting it into suspended ceilings. We also like the paintable magnetic grille, making it easy to blend the speaker into the room. With low-impedance and 70/100V line operation, the VIC8X is a versatile choice for offices, retail spaces, hospitality venues and meeting rooms.
