With 60W RMS power handling at 8Ω and a built-in 70/100V line transformer offering selectable 60W, 30W, 15W, 7.5W and 3.75W power taps, the VIC8 is well suited to a range of commercial background music and PA systems.

If you’re looking for a ceiling speaker that can fill a larger space with clear, balanced sound, we think the Ecler VIC8 is well worth considering. Its 8-inch woofer gives it a bit more presence than smaller ceiling models, making it a good fit for restaurants, retail spaces, offices and other commercial environments where consistent background music matters. We also like the steerable tweeter, which helps installers direct the high frequencies where they’re needed, and the magnetic grille can be painted to blend in with the ceiling. With both low-impedance and 70/100V line operation, it’s a flexible option that combines a tidy finish with dependable performance.
