Description.
The Ecler NIC-6 is a versatile 2-way in-ceiling and in-wall loudspeaker designed to deliver clear speech and well-balanced music in commercial spaces. With 50W RMS power handling, a 6.5-inch woofer and a steerable 1-inch dome tweeter, it provides clear, focused sound that can be directed towards the listening area.
Suitable for both 70/100V line systems and conventional 8Ω amplifiers, the NIC-6 includes a built-in line transformer with selectable power taps, making it easy to integrate into a range of commercial audio systems.
Ecler's Acoustic Resonator Technology (ART) helps improve low-frequency performance while reducing distortion and unwanted resonance. This is particularly useful in suspended and false ceilings, where the installation can affect sound quality. The result is cleaner, more natural audio with less unwanted colouration.
Installation is straightforward, with connections and power selection accessible from the front of the speaker. This means installers can make wiring or power-tap changes even after the speaker has been fitted. Its IP66 rating also makes it suitable for humid or dusty environments where additional protection is needed.
Finished with a magnetic, frameless grille and removable Ecler logo, the NIC-6 has a clean, discreet appearance that blends neatly into its surroundings. It's a practical choice for shops, restaurants, hotels, offices and other commercial spaces where reliable sound and a tidy finish matter.

Getting a good balance between sound quality and a discreet installation isn’t always easy, but we think the Ecler NIC-6 gets it right. Its 6.5-inch woofer and steerable tweeter help deliver clear speech and balanced music, while Ecler’s ART technology is designed to improve low-frequency performance and reduce unwanted vibrations through the ceiling. We particularly like the installer-friendly details, with connections and power selection accessible from the front, even after the speaker is fitted. The IP66 rating also makes it suitable for more demanding environments where dust or moisture can be an issue. For shops, offices, hospitality venues and leisure spaces, it’s a well-considered ceiling speaker that puts sound quality and practical installation first.
