Description.
The Ecler MIA-82 is a compact, elegant column loudspeaker designed to deliver powerful, clear sound with minimal visual impact. Its single-piece aluminium enclosure helps reduce unwanted vibrations and mechanical stress, making it a practical choice for permanent commercial audio installations.
Featuring eight 2.5-inch drivers with a total 150W RMS rating, the MIA-82 uses a mini line-array configuration to provide controlled sound dispersion from a slim, discreet cabinet. It offers selectable 16Ω or 64Ω operation, with the impedance easily changed behind the front logo without removing the grille, making setup straightforward for installers.
With an IP44 rating, the MIA-82 is suitable for indoor use and protected outdoor applications. Available in black or white, it fits neatly into a wide range of architectural and commercial environments.
The included HANDY wall-mount bracket is made from stainless steel and offers versatile pan and tilt adjustment. It can be positioned at any point along the column’s length, giving installers greater flexibility to direct sound where it’s needed while keeping the installation neat and unobtrusive.
Ideal for hotels, restaurants, retail spaces, galleries and other commercial venues, the MIA-82 combines strong audio performance with flexible mounting and a discreet, modern design.

When a space needs more output than a compact column speaker can offer, we think the Ecler MIA-82 is well worth a look. Its eight 2.5-inch drivers give it considerably more power handling than the smaller MIA-81, making it a good option for larger retail spaces, hospitality venues and other commercial environments where clear, consistent sound matters. We particularly like the adjustable HANDY wall bracket, which makes it easier to aim the speaker towards the listening area, while the aluminium enclosure keeps the design smart and unobtrusive. With 150W RMS power handling, IP44 protection and black or white finishes, it’s a versatile choice for installations where performance and appearance both count.
