Description.
The Ecler IG108i is a high-performance, ground-standing loudspeaker designed to deliver quality sound across outdoor spaces. Its discreet, ground-level design makes it ideal for gardens, theme parks, nature parks, leisure centres, sports facilities, museums and landscaped public areas.
Featuring an 8-inch Kevlar woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter, the IG108i provides clear speech and full-range audio for background music and paging applications. Its 360° horizontal sound dispersion helps distribute audio evenly around the speaker, with a typical coverage radius of around 4–6 metres per unit, depending on the installation and environment.
With 100W RMS power handling at 8Ω and support for 70/100V line systems, the IG108i offers flexibility for both low-impedance and distributed audio installations. Selectable transformer power taps allow the output to be matched to the requirements of the system.
Built for outdoor use, the IP65-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water jets. The polyethylene housing and aluminium grille are designed for durability, while the included ground security bracket helps keep the speaker securely installed. Waterproof cable connectors simplify installation without the need to open the enclosure.
Available in colours designed to complement outdoor surroundings, the Ecler IG108i is a versatile solution for reliable background music and paging in commercial, leisure and public spaces.
Applications.
Leisure // Sports & Wellness // Hospitality
We think the Ecler IG108i is a great solution for outdoor spaces where you want good-quality sound without having speakers mounted on walls or poles. Installed at ground level, its discreet design blends into landscaped areas, gardens and leisure spaces, making it particularly appealing for hotels, pubs, theme parks and outdoor hospitality venues. We like the 360° horizontal sound coverage, which helps spread music around the surrounding area rather than directing it from one fixed point. The 8-inch Kevlar woofer and 1-inch silk dome tweeter also give it a proper two-way speaker design, while the IP65 rating makes it well suited to life outdoors. For us, it’s a smart way to create an outdoor sound system that sounds good without dominating the surroundings.
